I installed a couple these in the kitchen’s, after which my her conversation and I both had a version of those mouth-open, “wow” experiences. They flood the space with deep, rich audio: crips highs and total, round lows. You can angle the tweeters in order to “aim” them better, but I didn’t want one particular sweet spot in your kitchen, so I kept them pointing directly downwards. awesome.
The installation is really simple as well. I found that using a carefully cut hole i Outdoor Speakers had no problems at most with speaker insertion. like with the other reviews, i had a devil of a period of time getting the speaker grilles away, and was afraid i might pull out among the list of tiny holes with your paperclip. Polk would do much better to package these using the grilles off so that the installer can skip that step. However, I found that getting them back on was easy – you just have to assure you put them back on with a straight insertion on all edges and then work your way around over time…you can’t fully embed them on one end and make the others fit, they are that tight.
Bottom line: i love these and highly advise them.
